A Beer That Gives Back

Maj. Steven Gagner is a soldier and who came up with an idea to create a business that could his fellow troops and veterans, The 14th Star , the business plan was originally drafted on the back of a notebook by Steve Gagner while serving our country on the battlefields of Afghanistan. Upon returning home to Vermont the founders, Steve and his best friend and fellow soldier Matt Kehaya, worked to refine their plans to make their dream a reality. Matt and Steve first opened the doors to 14th Star Co in 2012 at 41 Lower Newton Street in St. Albans Vermont in the year of 2012, beer on a 3.5 bbl pilot brewhouse they hand-built using repurposed retrofitted maple sap collection tanks. For the first two years, the operated selling bottles and growler fills out of the small tasting room. 

After much success the company expanded and moved to from their 3.5 barrel brewhouse on Lower Newton Street to our 30 barrel and Taproom at 133 North Main Street in Vermont, where they produce over 8,000 barrels. Because this expansion their beer can be found in cans or on tap at your favorite craft beer venues throughout Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut, , and area.
