Two high school entrepreneurs are re-creating the iconic “Balboa Beach Company” on Balboa Island. Do you remember the good old days when the BALBOA BEACH COMPANY was on Balboa Island? It was before we were born.

Sami and Jordan Pratt have been fortunate to grow up living on the beach in Newport Beach, california where they each attend Corona del Mar High/Middle school.

Part of growing up in Newport Beach for most kids, is learning about respect for the ocean and living the “beach” lifestyle. They both attended the NB Junior Life Guard program where ocean respect is taught and practiced, and enjoy beach activities from surfing, boogie boarding, skim boarding, paddling, diving, tubing, or just hanging out at the beach with friends. The beach is their playground and they love it!

The original Balboa Beach Company was an iconic store on Balboa Island that closed in 2003. As you will see in the video, they have an exceptional opportunity to open a new, Balboa Beach Company store on beautiful Balboa Island this spring. They are going to bring this store back to everyone that grew up loving the Balboa Beach Company in the 80's and 90's, and re-introduce it to millions of new Newport Beach locals and tourists.
