Beds For Kids

In 2010, a group of individuals led by Tim Rowley, delivered a few pieces to a family who had recently moved out of a shelter in Charlotte, and into a home. Realizing that this family was one of thousands who were moving into housing and were in need of beds and other essential , the idea of Beds for was born.

In 2011, Beds for officially became a 501(c)3 non-profit. Initially operating out of a 30'x10' storage unit off South Blvd., Beds for provided 282 beds to children and families in need. Fast forward to today, Beds for serves almost five times that number of beds and essential to our client families.

Striving to serve thousands of children and their families each year. Though the number beds and delivered increases with each year, so does the number of people they are still having to turn down. Without the of our community, they would not be able to continue advancing our mission of providing beds and essential to children and their families in need. Together we are furnishing futures!
