The city of Bellingham celebrates the community year by awarding the Large, Small, Green and non-profit business of the Year, Tourism Partner of the Year, Young Professional, Man and Woman of the Year. This video below gives you a peek at all the 2013 small business of the Year award nominees! The award criteria for business of the year is Company management, longevity in community, community service and contribution exceeding the scope of the company's mission, economic stability, ethics and integrity, growth of company, new jobs created for the community, and upward mobility for employees.   Companies considered will be those who put resources and energy back into our community.
