Located in Benton, kansas Stearman bar & Grill, conceived by airport owners Dwayne and Julie Clemens, the bar and grill has been a hit with fly-in visitors as well as local residents.  It's a wonderful byproduct of the love for aviation, food, and a fraternity full of friendship and fun. Nowhere is that more evident than at Lloyd Stearman Field in the outskirts of Benton, Kan.  The owners treat their customers like family, and while enjoying a juicy, home-style burger on the FBO patio, you can watch aviation history fly by.

The restaurant is in the FBO building at the northeast end of the runway, giving it a perfect view of the unbeatable sunsets. A fuel station with 24-hour service for both 100LL and Jet-A is south of the building, where you can get pilot supplies, courtesy car, and rental cars when the restaurant is open.Each month from April to the end of the year, a local band plays at the restaurant. Many people drive or fly in from the surrounding area to partake in the festivities.
