Green Star Movement is a chicago-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that inspires students and community members through the creation of collective mosaic murals. The murals are created using a technique called bricolage, a technique where works are constructed from various materials available, Green Star uses an intricate combination of mosaic, sculpture, painting, and photos. This interactive process helps build teamwork and self esteem in the participants and revitalizes urban neighborhoods.

Green Star Movement has provided more than 5000 students with mural arts programming and successfully transformed the interiors and exteriors of over 50 public spaces, including schools, parks, community centers, and underpasses.Their programs can be tailored for youth and/or adults and groups of any size. Your mural can be permanent or semi-permanent, indoors or outdoors, large or small, they will customize a project design and program to meet your organization's needs.
