Jessie's Market located in Cincinnati, OH historically black owned business. Two years ago, at 91 years old, owner Harry Turnage closed down the market in hopes of retirement. It didn't take long for the community to rally against the decision. Located on a single hill in town, Cincinnati's Fairmount neighborhood is a food desert–so the people had nowhere else to go. Harry's daughter, Yvonne, and a couple friends from the neighborhood work together to keep the business alive and thriving. The market was left crumbling after a car came crashing through the building one Friday morning. But the Mr. Turnage said that won't be the end to Jessie's Market, a family business that's been going strong for 50 years.
